F-12Proven solutions <br />Responsive and dependable performance <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 20-07-01: Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br />Work Performed / Firm Responsibility <br />The C-4 Canal had become overgrown with vegetation, and the easement had been <br />encroached upon by many residents along Tamiami Trail in Miami. This project made <br />improvements to the canal to improve drainage and to provide improved flood <br />protection to residents. The work included clearing the right-of-way completely of <br />illegal structures and vegetation, hardening the canal bank with fill and a limerock <br />base, High Performance Turf Reinforcing Mats, and sodding, as well as environmental <br />and turbidity monitoring. <br />CES was contracted to perform on-site representation to observe and document <br />the construction and to assist the DPM in determining if the work was performed <br />according to the plans and specifications. This included reviewing and responding <br />to shop drawing submittals, Requests for Information, Change Orders, Field Orders <br />and Value Engineering proposals. It also required CES to provide Record Drawings <br />and a Construction Certificate of Completion at the end of the project, signed and <br />sealed by a Florida Professional Engineer.
