We designed and prepared paving/grading/drainage plans, details, notes and specifications <br />for the connection of the eastern terminus of the N-29A canal and the N-22 Canal with a culvert. The <br />existing asphaltic concrete pathway near the N-29A Canal was restored at its current location. <br />Central Broward Water Control District S -24 Culvert Replacement Project | Davie, Florida | Project <br />Manager - The S-24 Replacement Project involved the replacement of the existing culvert and associated <br />headwalls with (2) 54-inch culverts and riprap headwalls. Approximately 71 cubic yards of clean material <br />was used to fill a 0.01-acre area and 158 cubic yards of material was dredged to a depth of -3.60 NAVD <br />from a 0.05-acre area to complete the culvert and headwall installation. Craven Thompson & Associates, <br />Inc. (CTA) provided surveying, stormwater engineering services, plan & specification production, <br />permitting, bid assistance and construction related services. <br />N-29A Canal Connector Project | Davie, Florida | Project Manager - Craven Thompson provided <br />professional surveying, stormwater engineering, stormwater modeling, plan & specification production, <br />permitting, bid assistance, and construction related services for the N-29A Canal Connector Project. The <br />project includes the construction of 1,407 LF of 72” diameter culvert equalizer, connecting the Central <br />Broward Water Control District's (CBWCD) N-29A Canal to the N-22 Canal. The project also includes <br />demolition, culvert & headwall construction, and the restoration of stabilized pathway, sidewalk & asphalt <br />roadway, along with other minor improvements associated with the proposed project. <br />Shenandoah Drainage Study | Davie, Florida | Project Manager <br />Craven Thompson) was hired by the Central Broward Water Control District (CBWCD or District) and the <br />Town of Davie to: 1) evaluate recurring flooding problems in the Vista Filare subdivision of the <br />Shenandoah development; and 2) provide potential solutions to minimize recurring flooding within the <br />neighborhood. The Shenandoah development (Figure 1) consists of 612.4 acres of which 76% is <br />residential, 12% is interconnected lakes, 8% is recreational/FPL corridor and the remaining 4% is <br />commercial. The Vista Filare and Providence East neighborhoods, collectively referred to as “The Grove” <br />in previous permits, consists of 51.7 acres of which 92% is single-family residential and 8% lake area. <br />F | Page 43
