BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />The project consisted of Surveying & Mapping with Aerial LiDAR for a Basis of Design Report - Drainage Study <br />for the City of Hallandale Beach, Florida. The survey included a GPS control network to meet horizontal and <br />vertical accuracies to 0.10 feet on all hard surfaces within the City Limits. This included setting 188 aerial <br />targets to control an area of about 26,000 acres from Pembroke Road, south to the B roward / Miami-Dade <br />County line and from the Atlantic Ocean west to Interstate 95. Our survey crews then ran level loops and cross - <br />sections over 862 ground truth checks on hard surfaces at 80 street intersections across the City with accuracy <br />of 0.05 feet at 67% (one sigma) and 0.10 feet accuracy at 95% (two sigma). The LiDAR was flown by our <br />subcontractor, Pickett & Associates, Inc., and checked by Craven Thompson & Associates . The Survey included <br />2-inch pixel resolution aerials, identifying and mapping overall drainage flows across the City for drainage basin <br />designation, including review of outfalls and drainage structures upstream. <br />Consultant Surveying Fees: $43,398.00 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
