Summary meeting minutes will be compiled after each
meeting and posted on the City’s website, as appropriate.

Project Management PlanProject Management PlanProject Management PlanProject Management Plan

Our team approaches every project individually to develop a design that will complement
on-site conditions, meet the City’s program, be compatible with adjacent uses, and is
consistent with local culture. For each project, we will carefully analyze the existing
conditions, including but not limited to, environmental resources, geotechnical conditions,
vegetation, topography, cultural resources, historic resources, circulation, access, adjacent
uses, existing utilities, maintenance resources and stakeholder resources. This process
allows for consideration of existing features concurrent with the development of potential
new improvements.

The preliminary design options will be evaluated through community outreach workshops
and stakeholder meetings to arrive at a preferred design. Engineering plans and outreach
documents will be prepared to include “Opportunities and Constraints” presentation
boards, precedent images to help convey the design concept, and illustrations of the
preferred plan. Our team will also prepare recommendations for future maintenance
programs, including projected costs.

Our Design Process is summarized as follows:

Phase I – Study and Report

1. Pre-Design Services:
a. Project kick-off meeting
b. Site reconnaissance meetings
c. Survey and historical site information review
d. Geotechnical report preparation to understand subsoil characteristics, such as
percolation and drainage capacity, and soil bearing capacity.
e. Infrastructure inventory analysis to understand existing conditions, opportunities
and constraints.

2. Vision Session and Meetings with City Staff, Commission, Committees, and/or
Boards, as required to understand the goals and objectives for the project

Phase II – Preliminary Design

1. Conceptual Design (30% Plans):
