Modifications included backplate installations to new and existing mast arm <br />structures, the addition of of signal heads (from 3 section heads to 5 section heads). Structural analysis reports were prepared following <br />AASHTO LRFDLTS1, LTS-6 and LTS-6 with Appendix C, as modified by the FDOT Structures Manual. Improvements were implemented <br />at the following intersections: SR 25/ Okeechobee Road and West 12th Ave/NW 74th Street, SW 72nd Street (Sunset Drive) and SW 87th <br />Avenue as well as NW 12th Avenue from SW 8th Street to NW 14th Street in Miami, Florida. Approximate construction cost is $1M. <br />Mr. Oscar J. Cruz, P.E. and Mr. Gregory P.
