Mr. Eckardt currently serves as Director of Engineering for <br />Premiere Design Solutions, Inc. (PDS) responsible for overseeing surveying and <br />engineering project production, quality control and making sure our Clients needs <br />are incorporated into our engineering design. Mr. Eckardt has been a project <br />manager for professional engineering and surveying services work assigned to PDS. <br />Mr. Eckardt’s experience in the public sector includes design for new and existing <br />infrastructure utilities in different municipalities throughout South East Florida. For <br />these types of projects Mr. Eckardt has designed roadway improvements projects <br />for Miami-Dade Public Works, Miami-Dade Transit, Broward County Transit, Mr. <br />Eckardt has also designed potable water and sanitary sewer collection systems for <br />the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department. He has a vast experience in utility <br />coordination, subsurface utility investigation and GIS projects. <br /> <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Citywide CIP Water & Sewer Improvement Surveys, City of Opa-Locka, FL This <br />project includes the topographic route surveys for over 200,000 LF of ROW surveys <br />on roadways to receive water and sewer improvements as part of the Capital <br />Improvements Program (CIP) throughout the City of Opa-Locka. PDS is part of the <br />Team to provide design criteria packages for the letting of this work. Mr. Eckardt is <br />the Project Manager responsible for the plans production, scheduling and project <br />activity coordination with the Client and field crews for this aggressive execution <br />schedule project. <br /> <br />Cairo Ln Topographic Survey, City of Opa-Locka, FL - This project was an <br />emergency project to conduct a topographic survey of 2,600LF of roadway in the City <br />of Opa-Locka. Project included the collection of all above ground features, spot <br />elevations, underground utility investigation, recording of existing roadway conditions, <br />and depiction of right-or-ways along this corridor. Mr. Eckardt was the project <br />manager responsible for client coordination and scheduling of field work and drawing <br />generation and conducted quality assurance and quality control on the project <br />deliverables and data collection. <br /> <br />Sketches and Legal Descriptions for 11 properties, City of Opa-Locka, FL - This <br />project was a support service to the City of Opa-Locka in the development of legal <br />easement documentation for future roadway improvements planned within the City. <br />The project consists of the drafting of legal descriptions and sketches for easements <br />currently in negotiation between the City and property owners. Project Included one <br />document with legal description and sketch for each of the 11 properties included in <br />the project. The legal descriptions and sketches provided will be utilized by the City <br />and will be included in their preparation of documents and negotiation of easements. <br />As project manager, Mr. Eckardt was responsible for client coordination and <br />scheduling plat investigations, field work and drawing generation and conducted <br />quality assurance and quality control on the project final deliverables. <br /> <br />Pump Station 11C Upgrades, Opa-Locka, Florida <br />Mr. Eckardt was the project manager and engineer of record for this project to <br />provide upgrades to the master lift station in the City of Opa-Locka responsible for <br />collection all sanitary sewer flows in the city and routing them to the receiving County <br />pump station via a 12” force main. Project included the structural building <br />renovations, completely new electrical system, pump controls, telemetry, <br />replacement of the three main 140 HP VFD pumps rated at 3,200 GPM and the <br />design of a standby emergency diesel operated pump with integrated generator. <br />Permitting services through the City and RER, FPL Coordination and construction <br />support were also provided.
