Responsible for inspecting and <br />documenting debris removal, repair and replacement of signs, roadway lighting, signalization and erosion control, cleaning of drainage system throughout numerous areas in <br />Miami Dade County. Preparing daily work reports, tracking quantities as well as time and material records, reviewing invoice requisitions from the Contractors. <br />CEI Roadway Inspector - Miami, Florida <br />2015-2017CEI Services <br />This $26.4 million project included the reconstruction 5 miles of a new 4-lane divided section with a 40-foot median and guardrail in select locations. Environmental awareness is <br />addressed with the installations of 6’ x 22” wildlife crossings and a water-quality sensitive drainage system with more than 8,400 LF of French drain, almost 9,400 LF of solid pipe, <br />and 190 drainage structures. The Project also addressed multi-modal and safety purposes by providing 5-foot paved shoulders for the north- and southbound roadways that will <br />be marked for bicycle use. The Project is adjacent to the Florida Everglades and required significant de-mucking for the construction of the widened section.
