SR 997/Krome Ave from SW 312 St to SW 296th St and from <br />SW 296 St to S of 232nd St (Miami, FL) <br />This $35.5 million project consists of adding lanes and pavement rehabilitation along SR 997/Krome <br />Ave from SW 312 Street/Campbell Drive to SW 296 St. including the reconstruction and addition of <br />lanes from SW 296 Street to S of SW 232 St. Additional improvements include the reconstruction of <br />five existing signalized intersections, a new signalized intersection at SW 272 St and Krome Ave, the <br />construction of two new bridges over C-103 Canal, the demolition of an existing bridge, and the <br />construction of new access roads for SFWMD. CEI Responsibilities included administering the <br />construction contract, ensuring compliance with specifications, certification packages, and as-built <br />plans, performing monthly schedule reviews, maintaining a constant line of communication with FDOT <br />officials, designers, stakeholders, utility owners, and respective agencies, managing inspection staff, <br />coordinating all work with the contractors, reviewing all lane closure requests, preparing the monthly <br />and final estimates, tracking material submittals, managing and updating the material certification <br />program, analyzing construction claims to determine entitlement, negotiating, generating and <br />processing work orders and supplemental agreements, coordinating/tracking request for information <br />(RFI’s), shop drawings, and plan revisions. <br />FDOT Jonathan Fundora, P.E. <br />5 <br />(305) 640-7417 <br />CEI Services
