D-13 <br />RFQ 20-10-01 Professional Engineering and Architectural Services for Pedestrian Bridge with Park Elements Across A1A at 174th St. CCNA D <br />Our team senior staff - including Dr. K.T. Lin, Abid Hadrous, Dinesh Dagly, Soheila Sadough, and Raul Amaya - were a major part <br />of the original Beiswenger, Hoch, and Associates (BHA) design team. Dinesh was the Structural PM; Abid provided the segment <br />design; Soheila provided the substructure design as well as the transverse load rating; Raul provided the longitudinal analysis and <br />load rating; and K.T. provided QC of the longitudinal load rating of the as-built structures, as well as construction assistance of the <br />substructure. The project received the Award of Excellence in Highway Bridge Design from the Federal Highway Administration and <br />several architectural lighting awards. <br />1994 <br />AWARD <br />BIENNALAWARDS <br />EXCELLENCE <br />SR 100 (FLAGLER BEACH BRIDGE), FLAGLER COUNTY <br />Dr. Lin designed the bridge using the concept of continuous prestressed Florida Bulb-Tee Beams. The beams were first pre-tensioned, <br />attaining continuity thereafter by placing the closure pours and post-tensioning the whole unit longitudinally.
