<br />Served as senior civil engineer for this $1.05 billion mixed-use urban development. Strategically located in the center of Miami's Brickell
<br />financial district, the project was one of the largest urban redevelopments in downtown Miami. It consisted of 9.1 acres along both sides of
<br />South Miami Avenue between SE 8th Street and SE 6th Street and included an aggressive construction schedule, impacts to three different
<br />roadway jurisdictions, large potable water demands, overhead pedestrian bridges across city rights-of-way, and non-standard placement of
<br />utility features within Miami -Dade Transit right-of-way.

<br />Project Engineer. Kimley-Horn led the transportation planning and civil engineering support aspects of The Underline Master Plan. The
<br />Underline is an iconic bicycle and pedestrian greenway and urban linear park under the Miami -Dade Metrorail corridor. Our services included
<br />site analysis, mobility recommendations, transportation safety recommendations, framework plan support, key agency review meetings, and
<br />public meeting support. Improvements included wide path crossings with separate space for bicyclists and pedestrians, pavement markings,
<br />colored pavement treatments, and bicycle traffic signals.

<br />Project Engineer. As part of the City's on-call general services contract, Kimley-Horn was retained by the City of Miami Beach to provide design
<br />services for a proposed 72 -inch diameter Washington Avenue and 17th Street. Kimley-Horn's scope included the design the extension of a 72 -
<br />inch storm drainage pipe to the existing 96 -inch storm pipe along Washington Avenue southerly to 17th Street then turning westerly along 17th
<br />Street to terminate at an existing culvert located on Meridian Court. The scope also included the identification of existing utility conflicts, design
<br />of conflict structures and interconnection of other minor existing system to the proposed 72 -inch.

<br />Project Engineer. Kimley-Hom was selected for the new construction and widening of Washington Avenue from NE 2nd Street to NE 8th Street
<br />from a two-lane undivided section to a two-lane divided urban section with parking on both sides. The project included roadway, drainage,
<br />signing and marking, lighting, water main extension, landscaping, and irrigation plans. The project included obtaining all required permits,
<br />preparation of bid documents, and construction supervision.
