BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, <br />Located at the core of the Miami's financial <br />district, Brickell City Centre is a nine -acre mixed- <br />use development - and one of the largest <br />projects in the City of Miami today. The site <br />comprises three city blocks. At completion, this <br />$1.05 billion project will include 2.9 million <br />square feet of retail, office, residential, and <br />entertainment space. The parking demand for <br />this proposed development will be satisfied by <br />the construction of a two-level subterranean <br />parking garage, which will extend beneath the <br />right-of-way (ROW) for full connectivity between <br />the three blocks. This Leadership in Energy and <br />Environmental Design (LEED) Neighborhood <br />Certified project also includes sustainable <br />elements such as a climate ribbon, green roofs, <br />and cisterns for irrigation use. As the Engineer of <br />Record (EOR), Kimley-Horn provided an array of <br />civil engineering, transportation planning, and <br />traffic engineering services. Our scope of work <br />included design, permitting services, and <br />construction administration for the installation of <br />more than 7,000 linear feet of new water and <br />sewer utilities within an extremely congested utility corridor; full roadway reconstruction including drainage improvements; traffic <br />signalization; and on-site stormwater management.
