BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Vertical Transportation Excellence (VTX), a division of Gannett Fleming, as a subconsultant, is providing professional <br />technical support services to the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA). For this assignment, our firm <br />is providing field review; evaluation; recommendations; design; construction plans; specifications; construction -phasing <br />documents; and procurement documents, related to elevator reconditioning needs for several Tri -Rail stations, located in <br />Miami, Florida. <br />The typical Tri -Rail station has one elevator per platform in order to provide easy access and transfer passengers <br />from platform to platform. The current condition of the elevators has deteriorated and will need to be reviewed <br />and evaluated. VTX will provide limited field reviews, evaluations, recommendations, design, construction plans, <br />specifications, construction phasing documents, and procurement documents related to elevator reconditioning needs <br />for several Tri -Rail stations. <br />25.
