BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Vertical Transportation Excellence (VTX) will provide consulting services on an "as -needed" basis for assisting in the <br />implementation of the Construction, Modernization, Upgrades and Major repairs for new and existing elevator systems. <br />Support would include but not limited to: <br />• Perform a site survey\reviewing drawings to evaluate the elevators\escalator\moving walks and note the features <br />and devices currently in place. <br />• Provide Summary Report of Code Deficiencies Present on New/Existing Equipment when requested <br />• Provide Summary Report on Potential Safety/Reliability Upgrades for New/Existing Equipment when requested <br />• Provide Summary Report on Performance Characteristics of New/Existing Equipment when requested <br />• Standby by requirements when requested <br />• Provide assistance to the contractor and property managers when requested to maintain, replace, and repair the <br />new or existing elevator\escalator\moving walk systems. <br />• As requested, participate in meetings to address code support, interpretations issues, available options, coordination <br />efforts, technical support, review drawings etc. <br />• Provide post -incident investigations to evaluate root cause, corrective actions and assess liability exposure following <br />accidents\claims on VT Equipment- *Pre -litigation only <br />• Review existing service Contract documents for adequacy in meeting Owners objectives. <br />• Develop Capital Plan(s) to address major work elements and\or replacement of key VT equipment. <br />• Develop Contract Bid Documents for VT Service, Repairs and Replacement Activities. <br />• Review Service activities, billings, and proposals for additional work by Owners Service Provider. <br />• Review construction drawing and evaluate proper Vertical Transportation (VT) requirements and Value engineering <br />(VE) options. <br />• Review all construction change notices and damage claims such as alleged water damage, lightning, testing damage. <br />• Develop elevator construction and maintenance agreements <br />25.
