BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />The $802M DB project includes consists of a double -decking SR 836 beginning just east of the toll gantry at NW 17 <br />Avenue, rising over the center of SR 836, and touching down at 1-395, east of the 1-95 interchange. <br />Pedelta is responsible for the Independent Technical Review of the category -2 substructure of four bridges at the SR - <br />836 from west of NW 17th Av. to 1-95. The review includes foundations, piers and 90 ft wide post -tensioned segmental <br />pier caps. <br />Bridge 101 starts on the west of Lawrence Canal, crosses over the canal, Miami River, Metrorail, and many roads. It <br />ends at the north side of NW 14th Street, with a total bridge length of 5700.5 ft. Bridge 101 has 35 simply supported <br />spans in total.
