<br /> CATERING SERVICES # 24-02-02 <br /> <br />license(s) with Firm’s response. <br /> <br />Should the Caterer offer alcoholic beverages as part of its Catering Services, the Caterer <br />shall, at all times, exercise total independent, prudent, reasonable experienced judgment <br />in the service of alcoholic beverages by licensed bartenders. The Caterer shall take <br />extreme care and ensure that no alcoholic beverages are given to minors and will comply <br />with all applicable laws and regulations. Any service of alcohol to a minor by the Caterer <br />may result in the Caterer’s immediate removal and contract default. <br /> <br />b. The Prime Proposer must demonstrate successfully having performed at least five (5) <br />catering of similar or greater size, scope, and complexity to the specifications of the RFP <br />within the last two (2) years, 2021-2023. The Proposer must be regularly engaged in food <br />service including, but not limited to restaurants, catering companies, or other similar food <br />industry businesses. <br /> <br />c. The Proposer shall provide reference letters for no less than three (3) clients in which <br />the Proposer served as Prime Firm for projects similar in size and scope within the last <br />two (2) years, 2021-2023. Please note that the references must be for the same projects <br />in response to MQR “b” above. <br /> <br />2.4 TERM OF CONTRACT <br /> <br />This contract will commence upon execution by both parties which shall be the effective for one <br />(1) year, succeeding approval of the contract by the City Commission, or designee, unless <br />otherwise stipulated in the PO order. The contract shall be contingent upon the completion and <br />submittal of all required documents. This contract shall remain in effect until the completion of <br />services, provided that the services rendered by Firm during the contract period are satisfactory <br />and that City funding is available as appropriated on an annual basis. However, in the event <br />funding is not appropriated on an annual basis during any particular year within the contract <br />period, the contract may be canceled upon thirty (30) days written notice to Firm. In such an <br />event, the City shall only be responsible for the reasonable value of services performed prior to <br />the effective date of termination. <br /> <br /> 2.4.1 OPTIONS TO RENEW <br /> <br />Prior to, or upon completion, of the first initial one (1) year term, the City shall have the option at <br />its sole discretion to renew the contract for an additional four (4) one-year renewals. The <br />contractor agrees not to assign or transfer the contract, or any portion thereof, without written <br />approval of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />2.5 METHOD OF AWARD <br /> <br /> The proposal must address all points outlined in the specifications of this RFP. The proposal must <br /> provide clear and concise information of the Proposer’s capability to satisfy the requirements of <br /> the RFP. <br /> <br /> See section 4 of this solicitation. <br />
