30 Spec MECHANICAL Spec Pages 112600-2 and 112600-3 show a list of appliances for the Unit Kitchen <br />but does not specify any products or approved manufacturers; please specify <br />Will be provided under separate permit. <br />31 E-100 ELECTRICAL <br />E-100 – General Notes state “low voltage cabling and terminations by others” <br />Keyed note 7 calls for rerouting of telecom services. This appears to be in <br />conflict, please clarify <br />Cabling and terminations is a separate scope of work from conduit and pathway <br />requirements. EC is responsible for all conduits, pathways, and rough-in <br />requirements pertaining to the installation of low voltage devices throughout the <br />facility. The installation of said low voltage devices is by others. <br />32 E-100 ELECTRICAL E-100 – Keyed Note 7 – If contractor is to execute, please provide a full detail and <br />spec. <br />This note will be modified. The existing conduits shall be reused and (2) 3" <br />sleeves are to be provided to the data closet as shown on telecom riser, sheet E- <br />602. <br />33 E-602 ELECTRICAL <br />E-602 – components of this page seem to be in conflict with General Note on E- <br />100 stating “low voltage cabling and terminations by others”; Please confirm any <br />of the data system components to be provided by contractor <br />The components on E-602 are provided to indicate that the electrical contractor <br />is responsible of all conduit and rough-in requirments. Devices, jacks, faceplates, <br />and cabling is by others. <br />34 E-602 ELECTRICAL E-602 – General Notes reference a “raised floor system”. We do not find a <br />requirement for a raised floor on the Architecturals. Please clarify. <br />Reference to raised floor will be removed. This was reminscient of previous <br />design consideration. <br />35 E-100.1 ELECTRICAL E-100.1 – Security cameras are called out but no spec or wiring plan is provided. <br />Please clarify <br />EC is responsible for conduit and rough-in only. Cameras provided by owner via <br />separate low voltage contractor. <br />36 E-100.1 ELECTRICAL E-100.1 – Access controls are called out but no spec or wiring plan is provided. <br />Please clarify <br />Typical access control details have been added to sheet E104 for bidding <br />purposes. Coordinate with final submitted and approved shop drawings for all <br />pathway requirements and electrical hardware selections. <br />37 A-700 <br />CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES (IT)/ <br />ARCHITECTURE <br />A-700 – Doors 001, 009, & 026 call out security access control locks. Please <br />provide spec and detail <br />City shall provide desired security access hardware. Door 001, 006, and 009 shall <br />receive electric latch, Door 026 shall receive maglock. <br />38 A-103 ARCHITECTURE <br />A-103, A-201 and A-202 - Trespa Pura NFC Tropical IPE is called for on the outside <br />of the building, fascia and the soffit of Canopy; Spec page 07 46 33-1 calls for <br />Meteon Pura Phenolic Wall Planks instead. Please clarify <br />Follow finish on sheet A-103, A-201, A-202 - Disregard Technical Specification <br />Section 07 46 33. Refer to new Technical Specification Section 07 42 43. <br />39 ARCHITECTURE Please provide specifications for type "7" bullet resistant windows and type "4" <br />bullet resistant glass door with sidelites. <br />Refer to Technical Specification 08 56 53 TSS BR Transaciton Window - Hole and <br />Backer Talk Thru and Revised A-702 with new note for windows 22, 23, 24, and <br />25: Total Security Solutions or similar approved. <br />40 A-400 ARCHITECTURE <br />1/A-400 shows three sets of double doors as "STORAGE ELEVATION". <br />Corresponding floor plan tag on A-101.1 does not show these doors and these <br />doors are not shown on the door schedule. Please advise <br />Storage is within cabinatry and millwork of the scope of work for this project - <br />not a separate door product. <br />41 ARCHITECTURE Please provide hardware sets/specifications for aluminum and glass doors.Refer to revised Technical Specification 08 71 00 <br />42 ARCHITECTURE <br />The plans and specification calls for various flooring and wall finishes, can the <br />architect please provide some clarifications on the following items <br />Sizing for the porcelain wall tile F2 & F3 <br />Specification for the carpet 1 and carpet 2 <br />Specification for the LVT flooring <br />Specifications for the VCT flooring <br />Refer to Response of RFI #22
