43 <br />CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH/ <br />ARCHITECTURE <br />The completion time for the 150 days to substantial completion as stipulated in <br />the bid documents is very tight looking at the scope, elements and site logistics of <br />the project. Can the architect/ please review the schedule for the Substantial <br />completion time to be 210 days in lieu of the 150 days? <br />Not at this time, we will make concessions to provide space. <br />44 CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH <br />At the prebid meeting it was discussed about the staging and parking available for <br />the construction crew. Can the City please confirm whether there will be parking <br />fees associated for the contractor and its subs use of the existing parking? <br />No fees <br />45 ARCHITECTURE <br />The pans and details show the canopy to be constructed around the roof <br />perimeter as a metal canopy. The specs div 10-7313 calls for awning fabric. Can <br />the architect please confirm the structure and material for the proposed <br />canopies. <br />Structure and Material of proposed canopies to be metal as per plans and details <br />found in bid set. Refer to new Technical Specification Section <br />46 ARCHITECTURE <br />The plans calls for the new wall on the East side of the building to continue along <br />the building. Will the new wall match the same open vented blocks, or will it have <br />been constructed with the solid grouted fill masonry as per section H-5? <br />Low wall has been removed from scope of work. Refer to revised A-100, A-100.2, <br />A101, A-101.1, A-101.2, A-102, A-104. <br />47 ARCHITECTURE <br />The northeast elevation of the building has a ceramic tile mounted on the <br />exterior walls. The plans calls for this tile to remain. At the walkthrough we <br />noticed some areas of the tiles are loose. missing, broken and needs regrouting <br />and cleaning. Can the architect please advise on the repair of these tile areas. <br />Please advise on the allowance for this work? <br />Refer to revised sheet A-600 for new note: Replace any missing and broken <br />existing external tile with similar match. Product to be submitted to AOR and <br />Owner for review and approval. <br />48 ARCHITECTURE The plans calls for a new wood fence to be installed on the south are of the <br />building. Can the architect please provide the detail for the wood fence. Refer to revised Sheet A-505 for wood fence detail. <br />49 ARCHITECTURE Can the architect please advise whether the breakroom appliances are to be <br />included in the General contractor’s bid? <br />GC shall provide and install appliances and coordinate with City for final <br />appliances. <br />50 A-601 ARCHITECTURE <br />Sheet A 601 shows a list of office furniture and millwork elements. Can the <br />architect please clarify which items are to include as part of the general <br />contractor bid proposal? <br />All furniture and millwork to be included as part of the contractor bid proposal. In <br />revised Bid Form, separate line item for furniture was included. <br />51 ARCHITECTURE <br />The plans calls for Honed concrete finish in certain room on the finish schedule. <br />Can the architect lase provide the Grit and colors to be used for the honed <br />concrete .? <br />Refer to response of RFI #18 <br />52 ARCHITECTURE Plans specify 12”x48” Armstrong Ultima, while the specifications list two types of <br />24”x24” ACT from USG Building Systems. Please clarify the correct one. Refer to response of RFI#3 <br />53 ARCHITECTURE Please confirm manufacturer and color for Carpet 1, Carpet 2, Porcelain Tile, ESD <br />Static Control Flooring.Refer to response of RFI #22 <br />54 ARCHITECTURE Please provide the manufacturer details for the interior acoustic wooden panel <br />on the walls.Refer to response of RFI #24 <br />55 MECHANICAL Please confirm if there is a mechanical demolition plan Yes <br />56 ELECTRICAL The electrical demolition scope appears to be limited to the electrical room. <br />Please confirm. <br />Building Demolition occurred and was permitted in previous phase.
