Be The Light Decor | RFP 26-04-01 — Citywide Holiday Lighting & Decorating Services
Page 24 of 55
8. Materials & Technical Specifications
All materials supplied under this contract are commercial / municipal grade and selected for coastal
Florida conditions — wind, salt, humidity, and the corrosion exposure typical of an oceanfront
environment. Per Addendum 3, Q9, coastal/environmental requirements have been built into our
material selection and fastening methodology. All materials, hardware, fasteners, wiring, controllers,
extension cords, cord coverings, and accessories are supplied by Be The Light Decor (RFP §3.1).

8.1 Street Pole Décor (Group 1, Item A — 161 A1A Poles)
• Pole height: 22 feet standard (Addendum 3, Q14). Mounting accommodates the existing pole
hardware; banner arms can be removed by the City where needed, with approximately 8 feet of
usable space (Addendum 3, Q8).
• Pole-mounted décor: 6' commercial pole-mount displays in a mix of figures (e.g., Candy Cane
Swirl, Gift Box, Snowman, Zig Zag Tree, Double Poinsettia, Single Bell, Stocking, Angel with Halo,
Candy Cane with Bow, Candle with Halo, Toy Soldier). Final selection submitted to the City for
evaluation.
• LED illumination — commercial-grade, weather-resistant, non-blinking unless otherwise
specified by the City.
• Dedicated outlets at each pole (Addendum 3, Q23); GFCI-protected (Addendum 3, Q21).

8.2 Palm Tree Wrapping
Location Species & Qty Method Strand Density
Collins Avenue (Median) 56 Medjool Trunk-only
(Addendum 3, Q19)
6 strands × 420 strands =
240/tree
Collins Avenue (Median) 92 Royal Trunk-only
(Addendum 3, Q19)
8 strands × 560 lights =
320/tree
Sunny Isles Blvd (163rd E.
