An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida;Amending Chapter 171 ("Historic Landmarks")of the Code of Ordinances to Provide a Definition of"Objects"; Providing for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for Repeal of Conflicting Provisions; and Providing, for an Effective Date. (First Reading 02/19/15) Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Ottinot reported that the City has collected a number of historic objects from the older hotels and this is a definition clarifying what we collected as objects. Public Speakers: None Commissioner Aelion moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the Ordinance on second reading. Ordinance No.2015-445 was adopted by a roll call vote of 5-0 in favor. Vote: Commissioner Aelion ves Commissioner Goldman ves Commissioner Levin yes Vice Mayor Gatto ves Mayor Scholl ves 9C. An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida; Amending Chapter 62 of the Code of Ordinances to Clarify that Contracts for Professional Services Governed by Florida Statutes §287.055 (The "Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act") Shall Not Exceed S25,000.00 Unless Approved by the City Commission; Providing for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for Repeal of Conflicting Provisions; Providing for an Effective Date.
