<br />(4) All public plazas shall provide a minimum of one <br />tree per 600 square feet (or part thereof) of public plaza <br />area. <br /> <br />(5) All public plazas shall provide bicycle parking <br />facilities. <br /> <br />(6) All public plazas shall provide at least one drinking <br />fountain. <br /> <br />11. In addition to the mandatory amenities required above, <br />all public plazas shall provide at least two of the <br />amenities listed in this section. <br /> <br />(1) Artwork, such as sculpture. Artwork shall be <br />subject to approval by the City Commission. <br /> <br />(2) Fountains and pools. An ornamental fountain or <br />reflecting pool occupying an area not less than 300 <br />square feet. <br /> <br />(3) Play equipment. <br /> <br />iii. Optional amenities - The public plaza may also include <br />additional numbers of the amenities mentioned above <br />and other amenities such as arbors, trellises, litter <br />receptacles, outdoor furniture, light stands, flag poles, <br />public telephones, awnings, canopies, bollards, kiosks <br />and open air cafes. <br /> <br />c) Public Bavwalk Enhancement Bonus: For properties that <br />provide the full width of the site a publicly accessible <br />waterfront pedestrian walkway (Bay Walk) not less than <br />thirty (30) feet in width, as measured perpendicular to the <br />face of the sea wall, the floor area ratio shall be increased <br />by twenty-five hundredths (0.25). <br /> <br />d) Site Assembly Bonus: For parcels over three (3) acres in <br />area, excluding Sunny Isles Beach South Edge and Center <br />Sub District, the floor area ratio shall be increased by fifty <br />hundredths (0.50) for each additional one acre of lot area <br />up to a maximum additional one and fifty hundredths (1.50) <br />F .A.R. bonus. <br /> <br />e) Public Land Enhancement Bonus: In cases where land is <br />offered to the City, including park and recreation facility <br />improvements, where the improvements will be consistent <br /> <br />P:\Projects\2002\0240 13 Sunny Isles Beach Town Center Zoning\Planning\Town Center Aprill.doc <br /> <br />5 <br />
