Nominations for the above awards must be made by a <br />majority vote of the nominees' city council/commission. <br />In the narrative and supportive materials, show how the <br />mayor or council member displayed outstanding: <br /># <br />· Initiative <br />· Integrity <br />· Vision <br />· Innovation <br />Leadership <br />Commitment <br /> <br />Citv Employee of UU~ Vtlar <br /> <br />This award ;s given to a city employee for his or her <br />exemplary efforts on behalf of the city during the past year, <br />Nominations for City Employee of the Year must be made <br />by a majority vote of the nominee's city council/commis- <br />sion. Any city employee is eligible for this award - regard- <br />less of title or full- or part-time status. <br />In the narrative and supportive materials, show how the <br />employee has displayed excellence in these areas: <br />· Work PerFormance/Productivity <br />· Judgment <br />· Initiative <br />· Integrity <br />· Dependability <br />· Cooperation <br />· Citizen Relations <br />Include any specific projects in which the employee went <br />"above and beyond" his or her duties during the past year. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />*{;J <br /> <br />City Manager of the Year <br />City Clerk of the Year <br />City Attornev of the Veal' <br />City Finance Official of the Veat' <br /> <br />These awards will be given to a city manager, city clerk, <br />city attorney, and city finance official (director or officer) for <br />their exemplary efforts on behalf of their city during the past <br />year. Nominations for the above awards must be made by <br />a majority vote of the nominees' city council/commission, <br />In the narrative and supportive materials, show how the <br />official has displayed excellence in these areas: <br />· Judgment <br />· Initiative <br />· Integrity <br />· Innovation <br />· ProFessionalism <br />· Commitment <br />· Citizen Relations <br />· Involvement with His or Her Respective <br />ProFessional Association <br /> <br />c~nr Citizen of the Year <br /> <br />This award will be given to a citizen in recognition of his <br />or her outstanding contributions directly to the city (town or <br />village) government during the past year. <br />The narrative and supportive materials should stress how <br />the individual's volunteer efforts benefited the quality of life <br />within the city, and describe how the nominee displayed <br />exemplary: <br />· Commitment <br />· Support, <br />· Skills <br />· Leadership <br />· Outreach to Other Citizens <br />· Desire to Make a Positive Impact in the City <br />Include specific projects or committees on which the vol- <br />unteer was involved, such as an advisory board, recreation <br />project, sister-city program, or strategic planning activities. <br />Please note that this award is not intended for volunteer <br />efforts for "community" charities and organizations, but for <br />direct, unpaid involvement with your city government and its <br />programs. <br />
