Minimum procedures for mulching and netting are: <br /> <br />1. Apply mulch loosely and to a thickness of between 3/4 inch and 1 <br />1/2 inches. <br />2. Apply netting over mulched areas on sloped surfaces. <br /> <br />3.02 SEDIMENTATION CONTROL <br /> <br />A. Install and maintain silt dams, traps and barriers as shown on the <br />approved schedule. Hay bales which deteriorate and filter stone which is <br />dislodged shall be replaced as required. <br /> <br />3.03 PERFORMANCE <br /> <br />A. Should any of the temporary erosion and sediment control measures <br />employed by the Contractor fail to produce results which comply with the <br />requirements of the Owner, Contractor shall immediately take whatever <br />steps are necessary to correct the deficiency at his own expense. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br /> <br />04/08 <br /> <br />02276-2 <br /> <br />06-5723 <br />
