Roadway design included the restriction of turning movements at intersections; construction of raised landscaped medians along selected locations to restrict turning movements and to improve aesthetics and sight visibility; upgrading the facility for handicap accessibility; milling and resurfacing; new signalizations including pedestrian signal features; signing and pavement marking; and construction administration services. Country Walk Drainage Basin Improvements Design, Miami-Dade County DERM. (Project Manager). Roadway improvements and drainage design for an approximately one square mile area known as Country Walk in Miami-Dade County (Country Walk Basins No.1, 5, 6 & 7). Tasks also included Interconnected Channel and Pond Routing Modeling, Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) and Right of Way Permits with South Florida Water Management District. (ICPR)(2001-2005) ? SR 973 - Sunset Drive and Galloway Road Intersection Improvement, Florida Department of Transportation, District VI. (Project Manager). Roadway design for adding an additional lane to this intersection in Miami-Dade County. This urban RRR project includes roadway, signing and pavement marking, lighting, signalization and landscape components. Construction administration service is also included. (2001-2004) ? SR 607 - Emerson Avenue, Florida Department of Transportation, District IV. (Project Engineer). Roadway design and construction administration services for this rural RRR project in St. Lucie County. This project includes RRR, shoulder widening, drainage and canal bank improvements. (2001-2004) ? Flamingo Fall Retail and Professional Center, Sheridan St. and Flamingo Road, City of Pembroke Pines, (Project ManagerlDesign Engineer). Provided design and permit services for 8.5 acres of new development for a proposed five-story retail and professional center, including water and sewer, drainage, outfalls and irrigation. Acquired drainage permits through the local Drainage District and South Florida Water Management District, water main extension permits from County Health Department, and sewer extension permit from County Environmental Department. (2004 to 2006) ? Grand Palms Drive Intersection Improvement Design, Grand Palms Golf Club and Resort, City of Pembroke Pines (Project Manager). This roadway intersection improvement design at SR 814 (Pines Blvd.) and SW 155th Ave. included adding an additional left turn lane at the intersection, traffic report and queue calculation, traffic signal modification, roadway widening, drainage improvement, and tree relocation. Permitted thorough FDOT, South Broward Drainage District, Broward County Traffic Engineering and the City of Pembroke Pines. (2001-2003) ? Worked on Portable Classroom Relocation Design and utility connections for Miami Jackson Sr. High, Barbara Goleman Sr. High, C.O.P.E. North Center. (2001-2002) ? St. Boniface Gardens, Archdiocese of Miami (Project Manager). Worked on this 3.2-acre private land development project for two residential buildings in the City of Pembroke Pines, Broward County.
