Miami-Dade County Public Schools Efrain Garcia, Project Manager 305.995.4586 The project at Henry Filer Middle School involved the renovation and remodeling of the existing facility and auditorium. The scope of work for the auditorium included completely replacing all equipment materials and systems. Architeknics, Inc. redesigned the space to meet the needs of the facility with the most durable materials as needed for this type of public facility. The acoustics were also added as requested to meet the needs of the new systems. In addition to the Auditorium renovation, the architect was in charge of replacing paint, ceiling and lighting throughout the entire facility, and various site upgrades including parking and drainage concerns. Architeknics, Inc. provided complete Construction Administration with weekly site visits, comprehensive site visit reports, and administration at construction progress meetings. The work performed for these projects at this location involved the interior renovations of multiple tenant spaces including office spaces, conference rooms, storage rooms, electrical and mechanical upgrades, HV AC replacements, and fire sprinkler system reconfigurations as well as the waterproofing of a fourth floor pedestrian deck. In addition, Architeknics, Inc. provided cost estimates for the renovation of all of these spaces as well as design development. contract documents, bidding, and construction administration. Architeknics, Inc. was chosen for these projects based on a recent history of successfully completed maintenance projects for the Department of Management Services under Continuing Contracts. RE-ROOFING Department of Management Services I District Courts of Appeals Various Project Sizes Department of ManaQement Services Jeremiah Lahey, Project Manager 904.359.6093 The work performed under these contracts involved various schematic studies and scope verifications for the re-roofing of the Fourth District Court of Appeals and the multi-phased project to repair the roofs of both buildings on the premises of the Third District Court of Appeals.
