<br />As Managing Partner and Principal-in-Charge of
<br />SBLM's Miami office, James Cohen plays an integral
<br />role in the management, direction and day-to-day
<br />operations of each project undertaken by SBLM's
<br />Florida-based team. With over 20 years at SBLM, Mr.
<br />Cohen directs and manages a broad range of the firm's
<br />projects for government, education and retail clients.
<br />He brings a comprehensive understanding of building
<br />systems integration and project management to all his
<br />endeavors. Mr. Cohen's years of hands-on experience in
<br />all phases of the architectural process from conception
<br />to completion have earned him the trust and admiration
<br />of many clients.

<br />Mr. Cohen was the Principal-in-Charge for this new
<br />210,000-square-foot school which accommodates
<br />1,642 K-8th grade students.

<br />Miami Sunset Senior High School, Miami, FL
<br />Mr. Cohen managed the renovation of this two-story
<br />320,000-square-foot high school.

<br />MDCPS - Existing Facility ADA Upgrades, Multiple
<br />Locations, Miami FL
<br />Mr. Cohen is the Principal-in-Charge of this program
<br />which includes ADA upgrades at several Miami-Dade
<br />County Public Schools. The scope of work includes
<br />upgrades to existing group and single user restrooms,
<br />doors and access, work sinks and casework, hi-Io
<br />drinking fountains, signage, walkways, ramps, curb
<br />access and parking.

<br />MDC - Environmental Signage Program, Multiple
<br />Locations, Miami FL
<br />Mr. Cohen is the Principal-in-Charge for Miami-Dade
<br />College's new environmental and wayfinding signage
<br />system across all existing campuses. The new signage
<br />system will comply with all applicable codes and provide
<br />a uniform, "branded" approach for all campus buildings.

<br />ITS Annex Warehouse Facility, Miami, FL
<br />Mr. Cohen is managing the renovation and expansion
<br />of the 30,000-square-foot ITS Annex warehouse
<br />facility, which serves as a headquarters for MDCPS's
<br />information technology department and its central
<br />computer equipment storage depot, staff offices and
<br />repair shop.

<br />Miami-Dade Correctional Facility, Miami, FL
<br />Mr. Cohen is managing the re-design and rehabilitation of
<br />this two story correctional facility, originally constructed in
<br />the 1980s and now maintained by Miami-Dade County.

<br />Whole Foods Market, Multiple Locations, FL
<br />As Principal-in-Charge of the Whole Foods expansion
<br />program for the Southeast, Mr. Cohen manages the
<br />design and construction of numerous projects including
<br />new, free-standing buildings and mixed-use urban sites.
<br />Projects have included multi-level parking structures,
<br />vermaports, and vertical conveyors for shopping
<br />convenience in multi-story buildings.
