Performed the prestressed beam analysis <br />and CIP continuous superstructure deck calculations. Also checked the intermediate pier <br />and end bent design performed by others. 2005-2007 <br /> <br />Grove IslE> Bndge l f)' level Bndge Rehabilitation Miami-Dade (,0 J "\ · I J"da <br />Project Manager Project involves the rehabilitation of a 28 span low-level bridge over <br />Biscayne. The rehabilitation consists of repairing prestressed/post tensioned deck/slab <br />units, cast-in-place-bent caps and prestressed piles. Project manager responsible for the <br />bridge inspection determination of deficiencies and implementation plan for bridge repair. <br />Also responsible for the development of contract plans, technical specification, quantity <br />computations and construction cost estimate.2006 - ongoing. <br /> <br />I 95 Over lake Washlllgloll Road Brevard County, FL - Project involves the widening <br />of bridge nos. 700123 (northbound) and 700040 (southbound) along 1-95 over Lake <br />Washington Road. The twin bridges are 4-span, AASHTO Type II girder bridges with CIP <br />continuous deck superstructure with an overall length of 172 feet. The cap/multi-column <br />bents are founded on 18" square prestressed piles. He was certifying Engineer of record <br />and performed the deck design and AASHTO Type II girder design as well as checked <br />the intermediate hammerhead piers founded on 4 -18" pre-cast piles. 2005 <br /> <br />Inspection of Bridges and Sign Structures for MDX, Miami-Dade County Flonda <br />Project Manager Project involves routine bi-annual inspections of 120 bridges and 112 <br />sign structures along SR-836, SR-874, SR-878, SR-924 and SR-112. Responsible for <br />project scheduling, reviewing inspection reports, and performing ONOC for the <br />inspections performed. 2003 - 2004. <br /> <br />East 79tl1 Street Bascl/lp dnd Low Level Bndge Rehabilitation Miami Dadf JUnty <br />Florida, Bridge Design Fngllleer Project involves the rehabilitation of four 17 span <br />low-level bridges and two bascule bridges. The rehabilitation consists of repairing pre- <br />stressed/post-tensioned deck/slab units, pre-stressed AASHTO girders, cast-in place <br />bent caps, bridge fender system, painting of structural steel on bascule leaves, repair <br />mechanical and electrical component associated with the bascule leaves and <br />replacement of steel maintenance platform. Responsible for the development of contract <br />plans, technical specification, quantity computations and construction cost estimate. <br />2003 - 2004. <br /> <br />Julia Tuttle (~l/SP 'N ~ Miami Dade County F-Ionda Bridqe DE I III JIll 'I <br />Project involves the rehabilitation of a high level 27 span prestressed AASHTO girder <br />type bridge structure over North Biscayne Bay. The scope of retrofit included repairs to <br />prestressed girders, steel pot bearings and concrete piers, as well as the replacement of <br />the existing fender system. The bulk of the project involved the repairs to the concrete <br />pile cap foundations where cathodic protection was implemented into the restoration to <br />ensure longevity of repair life.
