The proposed cross- section included four 12-ft lanes with 4-ft bike lanes in both directions. Design included a 2-lane typical section that can be widened in the future to a 4-lane urban road with minimal construction. The stormwater management system was designed to collect and treat the runoff from the current 2-lane rural road, but also has the capacity and the infrastructure in place to handle the future widening utilizing the same stormwater pipe/treatment system, Permitting included stormwater permitting through 5t.
