<br />EXPERIENCE:
<br />Ms. Linda Bell has many years of civil engineering experience in the
<br />planning, design and construction of engineering projects. Ms Bell is
<br />President and majority owner of Civil Works, Inc. Her responsibilities as
<br />Project Manager includes management of projects; supervision of
<br />engineering staff; coordination with subconsultants and clients; planning,
<br />design, bidding services and overseeing construction inspection and
<br />administration services. Some of Ms. Bell's design experience includes the
<br />following projects:

<br />SR AlA / Harding Avenue from Bal Harbor Shop Entrance to 94
<br />Street, FDOT District VI- Project Manager for this undivided 3-lane
<br />section with sidewalks and parallel parking along both side ofthe project.
<br />Elements of work included roadways, structures, minor bridge design,
<br />intersections, interchanges, geotechnical activities, surveys, drainage,
<br />signing and pavement markings, signalization, lighting, utility relocations,
<br />landscaping, right-of-way maps and legal descriptions, traffic control plans,
<br />cost estimates, environmental permit sketches, environmental mitigation
<br />plans, quantity computation booklets, and all necessary incidental items for
<br />a complete project design. Client: FOOT, District VI, Ana Arvelo, P.E.,
<br />305-470-5210. Completed 2010.
<br />Village of Palmetto Bay- Project Manager responsible for a Road
<br />Resurfacing Work Program and Sidewalk Inventory Study. A field
<br />inventory of the pavement condition was conducted and an analysis matrix
<br />for pavement overlay was provided. The roads were prioritized for asphalt
<br />overlay including a 7-year work program. For efficiency, the sidewalk
<br />inventory was conducted simultaneous to the pavement inventory. The
<br />sidewalk locations and the identification of any "gaps" were catalogued.
<br />Both the pavement and sidewalk inventory were inserted into a G IS Village
<br />plan identifying the pavement and sidewalk prioritization in various colors.
<br />Client: Village of Palmetto Bay, Corrice Patterson, Palmetto Bay, FL, 305-
<br />259-1236. Completed 2006.
<br />Village of Palmetto Bay- This project included improvements for
<br />three drainage areas including the residential streets of SW 77th A venue,
<br />SW 75th Avenue and SW 86th Avenue. CWI researched the existing
<br />drainage catch basins and site conditions within the specified areas. A
<br />drainage system was designed, and drainage calculations were prepared in
<br />accordance with Village of Palmetto Bay and Miami-Dade County
<br />standards. Drainage permits were obtained from DERM for this project.
<br />An existing South Florida Water Management District Canal outfall was
<br />used as an emergency overflow in one basin. Client: Village of Palmetto
<br />Bay, Ron Williams, Palmetto Bay, FL, 305-259-1236. Completed 2006.
<br />Grand Avenue Streetscape - CWI provided the Master Planning and
<br />Highway Design for the reconstruction of approx. 3,200 LF of roadway
<br />from a 5-lane undivided to a 2-lane divided roadway with parallel parking,
<br />traffic calming, drainage, signalization, decorative street lighting, wider
<br />brick sidewalks, landscaping, and sidewalk furniture.
<br />Client: MDPW, Lana Morrey, III NW I Street. 305-375-2863. Completed
<br />2005.
<br />SR 826 (Sunny Isles Boulevard) from SR 5 (US I) to NE 35th
<br />Avenue (Oleta River State Park) - This 3R project included signal
<br />modifications, a Bike Lane Addition, ADA ramps and Signing and
<br />Marking. Client: FOOT, Jose Barrera, P.E. 1000 NW 111 St, Miami, FL,
<br />South Florida Water Management District - General Engineering
<br />Consultant - This 4-year General Consultant Contract included
<br />engineering services for projects in II counties, general civil,
<br />environmental, canal bank stabilization, Master Planning, structural and
<br />various other services.
