BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />I <br /> <br />Program Overview <br /> <br />Be Sure to Notice <br />· Industrial hygiene services (asbestos. lead, <br />mold) <br />I · Regulatory agency negotiations/coordination <br />· Permits/environmental compliance <br /> <br />Shaw provides industrial hygiene support to CSX Transportation (CSXT) and CSX <br />(CSXI) lntermodal throughout their respective systems. A large part of the industrial <br />hygiene services include maintaining their asbestos, lead based paint and mold <br />programs within 15 states along the eastern coastline for CSXT and nationally for <br />CSXI. Tasks associated with this program are broad in scope and includes <br />inspections, abatements, wet demolitions, in-place management and/or staff <br />training. More traditional industrial hygiene services have also been provided in order to evaluate worker exposure to materials <br />such as metals, gasses, chemicals, etc. <br /> <br />Shaw has been retained by CSXI to manage the environmental and compliance requirements for 18 of their Terminals. This <br />program requires the management of operating permits including; tank registrations, air permits, stormwater permits, SPCC <br />management, SWPPP management, waste disposal management and coordination, and overall environmental compliance to <br />meet the demands of established regulations and corporate best management procedures. <br /> <br />Shaw manages the operation of 13 wastewater treatment plants with the CSX territory. The Shaw employees responsible for the <br />operation of these plants report directly to a CSX manager. Their roles extend beyond the wastewater treatment plant and <br />include general environmental compliance at their stationed location, as well as, remote locations within their territory. A main <br />objective of this position is to support a positive environmental atmosphere at the yards and provide a resource for the operating <br />departments to lean on for environmental needs. <br /> <br />Annual revenue - $500,000.00 <br /> <br />1 FIRM NAME <br /> <br />25.
