<br />of low level radioacti,'c uranium tailings from Moab,
<br />Utah to a disposal ccll site 30 miles away and
<br />dcmonstrate the process by moving 2.5 million tons.
<br />E,'aluation of se,'eral alternati,'es for excavation and
<br />blending of the pile materials were pcrformed as well as
<br />determining the most cost effecti,'e and lowest risk
<br />method of moving the material to the railhead which is
<br />200 feet above the pile and on the side of a stcep hill.
