Organize one pre-construction meeting for Heritage <br />Park <br />. General project management <br />. Task meetings <br />. Public presentations and meetings <br />!J Final presentation to the City Commission and other <br />related agencies <br /> <br />Organize One Pre-Construction Meeting for <br /> <br />Heritage Park <br />Kimley-Horn will organize one pre-construction meeting for <br />Heritage Park project. If funding sources delay a portion <br />of the project, such as the garage, discussion of <br />subsequent pre-construction meetings will be negotiated <br />with the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />The locally based project team will work out of Kimley- <br />Horn's Miami Beach office, just 10 miles from the project <br />site. Kimley-Horn will dedicate a consistent project team <br />throughout the duration of this contract. <br /> <br />Task Meetings <br />Bi-weekly team meetings with the design team and the <br />City are critical to maintaining the budget and timeline. <br />Jack Perry will facilitate all such meetings and be <br />available on a daily basis to address concerns and receive <br />requests and information regarding this project. <br /> <br />Quality ControVQuality Assurance <br />Kimley-Horn will have primary responsibility for quality <br />control and it will be carried out to the level appropriate for <br />the size of this project. We will translate the City's scope of <br />services and other contract requirements into an internal <br />team quality control/quality assurance (OC/OA) work plan <br />to identify: <br /> <br />. What is going to be reviewed <br />. Who is going to perform the reviews <br />. Adequate time for reviews by the team, agencies, City <br />staff, and any subsequent response <br /> <br />Other responsibilities will include: communicating the <br />above documents to the project team; holding a project <br />kickoff meeting; holding project meetings; documenting <br />project activities/decisions; conducting project reviews (in <br />some cases by selected peer groups); updating client <br />communication regularly; performing project closeout <br />activities; and assuring contract compliance. <br /> <br />No milestone submissions will be accepted from team <br />members without having first completed their own internal <br />quality control review. In addition, no milestone <br />submissions will be submitted to the City or Government <br />Agency without a Kimley-Horn quality control review. All <br />documentation related to quality control reviews will be <br />retained and scanned for future reference. <br /> <br />Public Presentations and Meetings <br />Jack Perry and our partners, Ric Katz and Kobi Karp are <br />no strangers to public presentation. Jack, Ric, or Kobi will <br />lead all community meetings and presentations to City <br />boards, as well as the City Commission. <br /> <br />Resource Availability <br />Using our in-house computer network, Kimley-Horn's <br />proactive management system forecasts our workload <br />over a six-month period and is used to detail every <br />project's personnel needs and determine each staff <br />person's availability. This system ensures that sufficient <br />staff and effort-hours are available to meet project <br />schedules. <br /> <br />We can assure you that the staff members selected for <br />the team are available to work on this project and are <br />in an excellent position to handle the workload of any <br />resulting assignments.
