<br />City of Miami Beach Parks - Miami Beach, FL
<br />Miami Beach showcases a variety of active and passive
<br />parks that appeal to tourists and the local community. The
<br />firm was selected by the City to renovate 11 community
<br />parks. These renovations are part of the Safe
<br />Neighborhood Parks bond program, which provides
<br />funding for community park improvements. The parks
<br />range in size from one to 12 acres. Some of the park
<br />features include basketball, handball, and tennis courts, tot
<br />lot and playground areas, community/recreation centers,
<br />walkways, and waterway overlooks,
<br />
<br />We divided the City into three geographical areas to
<br />maintain use of at least one local park during construction.
<br />Instead of closing all the parks in one central location,
<br />renovations occurred on a rotating basis in each area. This
<br />allowed local residents to maintain the use of other parks
<br />in their area while one was being renovated. We also
