PROJECT OWNER <br />Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency <br /> <br />The South Pointe Streetscape project was the first phase of a capital improvements program for the world-renowned "South Beach" <br />section of Miami Beach. The project consisted of complete reconstruction of drainage system, sidewalks and a high level of finish <br />streetscape/hardscape including an interactive fountain, landscape, irrigation, colored concrete sidewalks, brick pavers, street <br />furniture and an at grade street events plaza. Our firm was contracted to update the Duany Plater-Zyberk master plan for South <br />Pointe and prepare complete construction documents for all the improvements. Working closely with DPZ, we updated the master <br />plan and prepared a comprehensive phasing plan and cost estimates for the City-on time and within budget. Together with the <br />City, we developed an aggressive schedule for Phase I.
