C. Repair damage to other plants, lawn or construction work during plant replacement at no <br />cost to the Owner (this includes, but is not limited to, damage to curbs, walks, roads, <br />fences, site furnishings, etc.). <br />1.08 SCHEDULING <br />A. Install trees, shrubs, and ground cover before lawns are installed. <br />B. Notify Landscape Architect of anticipated installation date at last two weeks in advance. <br />PART2- PRODUCTS <br />2.01 PLANT MATERIAL <br />A. Well- formed and shaped, true to type, and free from disease, insects, and defects such as <br />knots, sun - scald, windburn, injuries, abrasion or disfigurement. <br />B. True to botanical and common name and variety: American Joint Committee on <br />Horticultural Nomenclature, Standardized Plant Names, latest edition. <br />C. Minimum grade of Florida No. 1 in accordance with "Grades and Standards for Nursery <br />Plants" published by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture. <br />All plants not listed in "Grades and Standards for Nursery Plants ", published by the <br />Division of Plant Industry, shall conform to a Florida No. 1 as to: <br />1. Health and vitality <br />2. Condition of foliage <br />3. Root system <br />4. Freedom from pests or mechanical damage <br />5. Heavily branched and densely foliated according to the accepted normal shape. <br />D. Nursery Grown: ANSI Z60.1 -1969 <br />1. Grown under climatic conditions similar to those in locality of project. <br />2. Container Grown Stock: <br />a. Growing in container for minimum 30 days before delivery, with <br />sufficient root system for container. <br />b. Not root -bound or with root systems hardened off. <br />3.
