MILLER \� LEGG <br />J. Aaron Smith, CID, CLIA <br />Irrigation Design Technician <br />Professional Experience: <br />Mr. Smith is responsible for irrigation <br />design for a variety of public and private <br />projects including roadway landscaping <br />and irrigation, active and passive park <br />irrigation design, as well as residential, <br />commercial and institutional projects. As <br />an Orange County Certified Irrigation <br />Contractor, he also provides irrigation <br />construction services. As a Maxicom- <br />certified irrigation designer, Mr. Smith <br />has expert knowledge of central control <br />systems. <br />Prior to joining Miller Legg, he worked <br />with other Central Florida irrigation <br />contracting firms, including managing his <br />own firm for three years. <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br />Sunny Isles Beach Active Park - A <br />2.5 -acre active park site, for which Miller <br />Legg managed landscape architecture, <br />irrigation, engineering, surveying and <br />architecture designs for a baseball field, <br />recreation building, playground <br />structure, multi - purpose court and <br />related site amenities within the City. <br />The project management team at Miller <br />Legg received recognition from the City <br />for their involvement in the design <br />completion of the Park. <br />McChesney Park Soccer Field <br />Expansion - An existing active <br />recreational facility with two regulation - <br />sized soccer fields, concession / <br />maintenance buildings, play area and <br />parking. Miller Legg designed the park <br />expansion consisting of three regulation - <br />sized soccer fields, 205 additional paved <br />parking spaces and restroom building. <br />The soccer fields will be equipped with <br />sports lighting in order to facilitate <br />nighttime play. Miller Legg prepared the <br />Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan <br />(SWPPP) and processed the Notice of <br />Intent (NOI) for NPDES permitting. The <br />total project site is approximately 13 <br />acres. <br />Jessica Clinton Park - A 20 -acre <br />community park located in the City of <br />Port St. Lucie. Miller Legg teamed with <br />The Collage Companies and the project <br />was delivered using the design /build <br />process. This facility provides active <br />recreational opportunities that include <br />two lighted baseball fields, a <br />soccer /multi -use field, and basketball and <br />tennis courts. Passive recreation <br />elements include a picnic area, <br />playground and fitness trail. The park has <br />a maintenance building and public <br />restrooms. Miller Legg prepared the <br />Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan <br />(SWPPP) and processed the Notice of <br />Intent (NOI) for NPDES permitting. <br />Artisan Park Interpretive Nature <br />Trail - Design of a self - guided <br />interpretive / educational signage nature <br />trail throughout the residential <br />community and its natural habitats. This <br />trail incorporates architectural elements <br />of the Craftsman architectural theme <br />while providing an interpretive <br />opportunity for the numerous natural <br />environments preserved throughout the <br />site. Artisan Park is a 160 -acre, 650 -unit <br />subdivision developed by the St. Joe <br />Towns & Resorts and is located in <br />Celebration, Florida. <br />Victoria Park - Development of <br />irrigation designs for a variety of <br />residential and recreational areas within <br />the 2,000 -acre phased development in <br />Deland. In addition to design activities, <br />coordination and associated testing for <br />irrigation installation activities as well as <br />installation and establishment of the <br />Maxicom central computer control <br />system. <br />FAU Lee Street Roadway Project - <br />Miller Legg is responsible for preparation <br />of construction plans for a 4 -lane divided <br />street and 1,600- parking spaces south of <br />the new Lee Street location, topographic <br />surveying, tree surveys, environmental <br />site assessment and permitting for <br />relocation of gopher tortoise and <br />burrowing owl locations, master <br />
