MILLER \� LEGG J. Aaron Smith, CID, CLIA Irrigation Design Technician Professional Experience: Mr. Smith is responsible for irrigation design for a variety of public and private projects including roadway landscaping and irrigation, active and passive park irrigation design, as well as residential, commercial and institutional projects. As an Orange County Certified Irrigation Contractor, he also provides irrigation construction services. As a Maxicom- certified irrigation designer, Mr. Smith has expert knowledge of central control systems. Prior to joining Miller Legg, he worked with other Central Florida irrigation contracting firms, including managing his own firm for three years. Relevant Project Experience: Sunny Isles Beach Active Park - A 2.5 -acre active park site, for which Miller Legg managed landscape architecture, irrigation, engineering, surveying and architecture designs for a baseball field, recreation building, playground structure, multi - purpose court and related site amenities within the City. The project management team at Miller Legg received recognition from the City for their involvement in the design completion of the Park. McChesney Park Soccer Field Expansion - An existing active recreational facility with two regulation - sized soccer fields, concession / maintenance buildings, play area and parking. Miller Legg designed the park expansion consisting of three regulation - sized soccer fields, 205 additional paved parking spaces and restroom building. The soccer fields will be equipped with sports lighting in order to facilitate nighttime play. Miller Legg prepared the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and processed the Notice of Intent (NOI) for NPDES permitting. The total project site is approximately 13 acres. Jessica Clinton Park - A 20 -acre community park located in the City of Port St. Lucie. Miller Legg teamed with The Collage Companies and the project was delivered using the design /build process. This facility provides active recreational opportunities that include two lighted baseball fields, a soccer /multi -use field, and basketball and tennis courts. Passive recreation elements include a picnic area, playground and fitness trail. The park has a maintenance building and public restrooms. Miller Legg prepared the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and processed the Notice of Intent (NOI) for NPDES permitting. Artisan Park Interpretive Nature Trail - Design of a self - guided interpretive / educational signage nature trail throughout the residential community and its natural habitats. This trail incorporates architectural elements of the Craftsman architectural theme while providing an interpretive opportunity for the numerous natural environments preserved throughout the site. Artisan Park is a 160 -acre, 650 -unit subdivision developed by the St. Joe Towns & Resorts and is located in Celebration, Florida. Victoria Park - Development of irrigation designs for a variety of residential and recreational areas within the 2,000 -acre phased development in Deland. In addition to design activities, coordination and associated testing for irrigation installation activities as well as installation and establishment of the Maxicom central computer control system. FAU Lee Street Roadway Project - Miller Legg is responsible for preparation of construction plans for a 4 -lane divided street and 1,600- parking spaces south of the new Lee Street location, topographic surveying, tree surveys, environmental site assessment and permitting for relocation of gopher tortoise and burrowing owl locations, master
