L Project Management Structure and Organization of Assigned Staff It is essential for the integrator of the wireless solution to have a proven method of executing on time and with the highest quality. IBM's Program and Project management consists of IBM's World Wide Project Management Methodology (WWPMM). IBM will create a Project Office dedicated to managing all aspects of the Brookline Wireless Project. As an approach, IBM proposes the following criteria for success: Project Keys for Success • Stakeholders are committed • Business Benefits are realized • Work and Schedule are predictable • Team is high performing • Scope is realistic and managed • Risks are mitigated • Delivery Organization Benefits are realized Approach IBM will assemble a project team with end -to -end responsibility for managing the City of Sunny Isles Beach Wireless Solution Strategy and Design. "End -to -end" means is that IBM's Project Office is involved in the entire life cycle of the project from the initial planning and assessment, and potentially through the details of daily operations once the City of Sunny Isles Beach's wireless network is up and running. Project Initiation Two processes are implemented during the project's initiation and led by the IBM Project Manager with input and participation from the City of Sunny Isles Beach project team and the IBM project team. 1. Project Definition Process — The process by which an agreement is reached on the objectives of the project, the scope of the project is established, the initial organization is defined, responsibilities are assigned, and initial Risk Assessment is made.
