8. All excavation, site work, relocation or replacement of utilities, <br />backfill compaction, and restoration of all disturbed areas. <br />i9. The IC shall be responsible for providing a complete and operable <br />system for the irrigation of all areas to be landscaped on the project <br />site. The plans and these specifications are intended to include all <br />items obviously necessary and requisite for the proper irrigation of <br />the project. This in no way relieves the IC of his responsibility to <br />furnish any additional labor, materials, and equipment required for a <br />proper system. <br />r2. The drawings are generally diagrammatic and indicative of the work <br />to be installed. The work shall be installed in such a manner as to <br />avoid conflicts between irrigation systems, underground utilities, <br />plantings, and architectural features. Deviations shall be brought to <br />the LA's attention. <br />I� <br />J <br />1 07/06 02810 -2 05 -5564 <br />10. The IC shall be responsible for adjusting head location, <br />head /nozzle type and size, and any other system components to <br />comply with the requirements of landscaping as actually installed. <br />Such adjustments shall be made at no cost to the Owner except <br />for, when authorized in writing, such adjustments which will be <br />compensated at an agreed upon price. <br />11. The IC shall supply, deliver, store, and protect all equipment and <br />materials including pipe and fittings, sprinkler heads, valves, <br />' <br />controllers, wire, and all other component parts necessary for the <br />installation of a fully- automatic irrigation system as indicated in the <br />plans and specifications. Adequate security of materials on -site <br />shall be provided by the IC at all times at his expense. <br />C. The IC shall become familiar with the project requirements and coordinate <br />the work with the Owner or the Owner's Authorized Representative (OAR) <br />and the Landscape Architect (LA). <br />D. Explanation of Drawings: <br />1. Due to the scale of the drawings, it is not possible to indicate all <br />offsets, fittings, and sleeves that may be required. The IC shall <br />carefully investigate the structural and finished conditions affecting <br />all of the work and plan his work accordingly, furnishing such <br />offsets, fittings, and sleeves as may be required to meet such <br />conditions. <br />r2.
