The IC shall balance and adjust the various components of the <br />system so that the overall operation of the system is most efficient. This <br />includes a synchronization of the controllers, adjustments to pressure <br />regulators, pressure - relief valves, part- circle sprinkler heads, and <br />individual station adjustments on the controllers. <br />D. All items of construction and operation of the irrigation system are subject <br />to the inspection and testing by the LA and OAR. Any item may be <br />rejected because of non - compliance with the plans and specifications, <br />non - suitability, poor materials, inadequate workmanship, or improper <br />assembly or other causes which would prevent the system from <br />functioning properly, or which in the LA's opinion would be detrimental to <br />necessitate excessive manual labor and maintenance. <br />E. The IC shall fully comply with the schedule of testing and inspection, as <br />well as any other tests or inspections that may be ordered by the LA or <br />OAR. All labor, materials, and equipment required for said tests and <br />inspections shall be furnished at the sole expense of the IC. Work <br />stoppages for testing, inspection, and replacement or repair of any <br />inadequate item shall not add to the allocated time of completion. <br />F. All repairs, replacements, adjustments, and reconstruction required to <br />pass said inspections and tests shall be at the IC's sole expense. <br />G. The IC shall be responsible for the full and proper maintenance of the <br />irrigation including, but not limited to, adjustments, repairs, integration with <br />the master control system, etc. The IC's responsibility for maintenance <br />shall extend through the guarantee /warranty period one (1) year from the <br />date of Substantial Completion. Irrigation "As- Built" record drawings and <br />three (3) copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals, as specified <br />under Part 1.05, 'Submittals', of this section are required at the time of <br />Substantial Completion. <br />H. Final inspection shall be made when the complete system is in place, <br />operable, and all repairs, additions, adjustments, and other work is <br />complete. At such time, the IC shall adequately demonstrate the proper <br />operation of the system, shall show the system's complete conformance <br />with the plans and specifications, and demonstrate that the irrigation <br />system gives proper and adequate coverage of all landscaped areas. <br />J. Final Acceptance by the LA and /or Owner in no way removes the IC of his <br />responsibility to make further repairs, corrections, and adjustments to <br />eliminate any deficiencies which may later be discovered. Moreover, the <br />IC shall fully honor the one (1) -year warranty outlined herein. <br />02810 -21 05 -5564 <br />
