Do not retemper <br />stiffened plaster with additional water or bonding agent. <br />3.03 CEMENTITIOUS FINISH APPLICATION <br />A Manufacturer's instructions for mixing and application as approved shall <br />be strictly followed. <br />B. Patching: <br />1. Patching shall be done with mortar specified above and where <br />required on concrete, as specified in Section 03300. <br />2. Patch tie cone holes, cracks and other defects in the concrete <br />substrate required to be patched. Allow to cure 7 days before <br />applying finish. This work is to be done by the Contractor. <br />C. Cementitious finish shall be mixed with bonding agent and water in the <br />approved mix proportions. <br />D. Apply with trowel a thin tight coat of finish firmly filling all voids, and when <br />tight coat is firm to touch, double back with more material and level to <br />bring the wall to true and level plane. <br />E. Application shall be at a rate to provide a 1/4 inch thickness minimum with <br />sufficient material used to fill voids and surface imperfections and to hide <br />joints in CMU walls. <br />F. When surface has set, so finish will not roll or lift, float surface uniformly to <br />obtain the approved sand finish. Use dry or slightly dampened float to <br />avoid adding moisture to the surface cementitious finish. <br />G. Finish shall be light textured finish on all exterior masonry and concrete <br />surfaces. <br />H. Cementitious Thoroseal System finish shall have 28 days minimum drying <br />time before the application of any type of masonry paint. <br />3.04 CLEANUP <br />07/06 <br />i <br />A.
