CGA replaced the existing pumps in the <br />adjacent dry well with new submersible, non -clog pumps in the wet well. The wet well was <br />rehabilitated to prevent infiltration. The station was bypassed during construction, which <br />also included installation of two new submersible pumps, emergency electrical <br />connections and site landscaping. <br />Lift Station Renovations, Hollywood, Florida. CGA conducted an investigation of 12 lift <br />stations identified by the City's maintenance personnel as problematic. Corrosion prob- <br />lems as well as pump and motor performance problems were identified. CGA <br />recommended rehabilitation for each station. All stations required cleaning and painting <br />plus removal of existing lead paint. Several stations required new impeller and rotating <br />elements in the pumps. Others required pump and motor replacement and structural <br />repair. The dry well was abandoned at one station, and the pumps were put in the wet <br />well. <br />Master Lift Station No. 19 Rehabilitation, Davie, Florida. CGA installed a new wet well and <br />replaced existing pumps with self - priming, centrifugal, non -clog pumps.
