No. 41917 <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Mr. Gran is Vice President of Civil Works, Inc. He has more than 24 years of civil engineering <br />experience in the planning, design and construction aspects of projects. His responsibilities as Project <br />Manager have included proposals, presentations, schedules, and manpower requirements. He has <br />conducted contract negotiations, maintained client contact and conducted public presentations. Mr. Gran <br />has provided construction administration and inspection services to public sector clients for various water, <br />sewer, and road construction projects completed by both contractors and in -house forces. He has been <br />responsible for budgetary control of projects, supervised engineering and technician staff during project <br />plan preparation. Quality control and constructability reviews have been completed by Mr. Gran for <br />numerous FDOT and other project plans. <br />In addition, Mr. Gran is also certified in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design <br />(OPTED) principals and employs these principals in the design and review of neighborhoods, roadways, <br />parking lots, and site designs. These practices include the reduction of crime through increased lighting, <br />access control, surveillance and territorial defensive tactics. Some of his experience is described below: <br />GENERAL CIVIL PROJECTS: <br />Projects included commercial and residential developments, FDOT and MDPW roadway design, <br />water and sewer improvements, drainage design, highway lighting, milling and resurfacing projects, <br />signing and pavement marking plans, signalization plans, environmental permits, development of contract <br />documents and specifications. Mr. Gran has supervised engineering and staff for project plan preparation; <br />conducted quality control reviews of project plans and performed construction observation and contract <br />administration for various construction projects. Some of the projects included: <br />Grand Avenue Master Plan - Project Engineer responsible for the Master Plan design. After Public <br />Meetings, CWI designed these roadway improvements for MDPW which will be constructed by the City <br />of Miami. This project included the reconstruction of a four -lane undivided roadway down to a two -lane <br />divided roadway section with landscaped median and parking on each side.
