<br />AutoPark Lexus of Kendall, New Car Showroom - This project included the design and construction
<br />' plans for the sanitary sewer system, sanitary pump station, water distribution, drainage and
<br />permitting.
<br />' South Florida Water Management District - General Engineering Consultant - This General Contract
<br />includes engineering services for projects in 11 counties, general civil, environmental, canal bank
<br />stabilization, Master Planning, structural and various other services.
<br />SFWMD Projects include: The Headquarters Master Plan including water and sewer calculations; the
<br />L -8 culvert improvements including new gates and head walls; a building inspection supervision;
<br />a bridge inspection supervision; the Hendry County Weir Improvements; supervision of 4
<br />' underwater pumping station inspections in 4 counties and various other projects.
<br />Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility -
<br />This project included the design preparation of construction plans and construction administration
<br />' for a new fire station built in the mid - field. This project included the civil engineering design for
<br />the air side apron and parking facility for the employees, sanitary sewer, sanitary pump station,
<br />force main, water distribution and drainage.
<br />' Big Cypress - National Park Service - Collier County - Project Manager responsible for the
<br />coordination, scheduling, cost analysis, and design for a new visitors center for the Big Cypress
<br />Reserve. This design/build project included a new parking lot, water, sanitary lift station, and
<br />' paving grading and drainage, as well as a pedestrian bridge crossing over a canal. Coordination
<br />required with SFWMD, FDEP, FDOT, ACOE, and Collier County.
<br />Belen Drainage Improvements - DERM - Project Manager responsible for the drainage report, design,
<br />' and preparation of construction documents for a 250 acre drainage basin. The report modeled 23
<br />drainage basins using ICPR 3. The plans included exfiltration trench design and two pump stations
<br />' connected to the Tamiami Canal. Coordination through Miami -Dade County, DERM, SFWMD,
<br />FDOT, and FDEP required.
<br />McMillan Park- Miami -Dade Parks and Recreation - Project Manager responsible for the drainage
<br />' report and construction documents for drainage improvements using exfiltration trenches. Services
<br />included permitting plans as well as weekly construction administration.
<br />North Trail Park - Miami -Dade Parks and Recreation - This project included design and coordination
<br />' of construction documents for a new five acre park and parking lot. Drainage reports for the entire
<br />park as well as for the parking lot and permitting through DERM and Miami -Dade Public Works.
<br />Ives Estates Youth Complex Master Plan - Miami -Dade Parks and Recreation - This project included
<br />' coordination of utility companies for infrastructure improvements to establish a new 84 acre park
<br />and regional offices complex on the closed Ojus landfill. Constructability issues were coordinated
<br />with DERM, FP &L, BellSouth, as well as Musco Lightning. The final site will have three lighted
<br />' parking lots, four lighted soccer fields, five lighted ball fields as well as a large recreation center
<br />and a maintenance facility.
<br />FIU Parking Garage - Miami - Project Manager responsible for the design and plans production for the
<br />' signalized intersection at SW 109 Ave. and Tamiami Trail (SR -80) to accommodate the traffic for
<br />a new parking garage at FIU, South Campus. Plans included modifying the existing "T" signalized
<br />intersection into a four-way, widening of SR -80, adding a four -lane divided section connector to
<br />' SR -80, striping, temporary driveway access, and Maintenance of Traffic.
<br />Alandco/Riverside Center and Roadway Master Plan, geometric roadway design for a 9 million square
<br />' foot commercial development and 6500 -car parking structure located in Downtown Miami.
<br />Parking Garage entrance design and utility services were also included. Survey coordination and
<br />platting were a part of this project.
