<br />permitting through HRS, DERM, and WASD.
<br />Ives Estates Youth Complex Phase I - Miami -Dade Parks and Recreation - Senior Design Engineer
<br />responsible for the development and design of construction documents for Phase I of Ives Estates
<br />Youth Complex. Project included a lighted parking lot, a lighted soccer field, two lighted ball
<br />fields, a recreation center and a maintenance building, 1500 LF of 16" water main, 2100 LF of
<br />6" force main, sanitary lift station, electrical and communication infrastructure. Permitting and
<br />coordination with Solid Waste, DERM, and FDEP due to site conditions. (Closed Ojus Landfill).
<br />South Florida Water Management District Headquarters Master Plan, West Palm Beach - Senior
<br />Design Engineer for a 29 -acre Headquarters Master Plan. Proj ect planning included water, fire and
<br />sanitary improvements, as well as parking layout.
<br />Hollywood Library - Senior Design Engineer for the site development for the new Hollywood Branch
<br />Library. Responsibilities included parking lot layout, modifications to Sterling Road, water,
<br />sanitary, fire line, drainage and permitting through the City of Hollywood, Broward County, DPEP
<br />and FDOT.
<br />Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility, Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport -
<br />Senior Design Engineer for the design and preparation of civil construction documents for a new
<br />midfield fire fighting facility. Included in this new site was an airside apron and employee parking
<br />lot, as well as drainage design. Both sanitary and water were piped across the taxiway and
<br />Concourse C apron.
<br />Big Cypress - National Park Service - Collier County - Project Manager responsible for the
<br />coordination, scheduling, cost analysis, and design for a new visitors center for the Big Cypress
<br />Reserve. This design/build project included a new parking lot, water, sanitary lift station, and
<br />paving, grading and drainage, as well as a pedestrian bridge crossing over a canal. Coordination
<br />required with SWFWMD, FDEP, FDOT, ACOE, and Collier County.
<br />West Perrine Park - Miami -Dade Parks and Recreation Department - Project Manager responsible
<br />for the coordination, civil design, and plans production for the addition of a new recreation center,
<br />parking lot, and walkways for West Perrine Park. Plans included the drainage report, paving, and
<br />grading, site layout, striping, water and sanitary design. Coordinated with MDPW, DERM, and
<br />WASD.
<br />Ives Estates Youth Complex Master Plan - Miami -Dade Parks and Recreation - Senior Design
<br />Engineer responsible for the coordination of utility companies for infrastructure improvements to
<br />establish a new 84 acre park and regional offices complex on the closed Ojus landfill.
<br />Constructability issues were coordinated with DERM, FP &L, BellSouth, as well as Musco
<br />Lightning. The final site will have three lighted parking lots, four lighted soccer fields, five lighted
<br />ball fields as well as a large recreation center and a maintenance facility.
<br />Harbour House, Miami -Dade County - Project Engineer for site improvements to the Harbour House
<br />Towers. Responsibilities included parking lot layout, drainage, system design with gravity and
<br />deep injection wells, and sanitary system modifications, as well as permitting through Miami -Dade
<br />County, DERM, FDOT and the Town of Bal Harbour.
<br />Broward County Port Authority at Port Everglades - CWI provided roadway and sanitary systems
<br />assessment for the Broward County Port Authority at Port Everglades as part of the Bond
<br />Engineer's annual review. This annual project scope included data collection, a matrix analysis
<br />of conditions, cost estimates and prioritizing of rehabilitation needs.
