Eckardt has four years of engineering experience in the field of civil and <br />environmental engineering in the design and preparation of projects including stormwater drainage, <br />drainage, roadway and transit rail station projects. His knowledge and professional background qualifies <br />him as a Project Engineer with experience in contract documents and administration, payment requisitions, <br />change negotiations, sub -- consultant's invoice review, general management and interface with private and <br />public sectors, as well as liaison between owner and contractor. Some of the projects included: <br />Ives Estates Park Youth Complex - Miami -Dade Parks - Duties such as responding to BFI's, determined <br />percentage of completion for progress payments and shop drawing reviews. Project consisted of <br />infrastructure improvements to establish a new 94 acre park and regional offices complex on the <br />closed Ojus landfill. Constructability issues were coordinated with DERM, FP &L, BellSouth, as <br />well as Musco Lightning. Project includes construction of a roadway, one new lighted asphalt <br />parking lot, 9 lighted fields, building construction, striping, drainage and grading, water main <br />extension and irrigation system <br />Miami -Dade Transit Busway Extension to Florida City and US -1 Reconstruction (2004 -2005) - <br />Project Engineer for construction administration of 7 miles of new roadway to be used as exclusive <br />bus lanes with state of the art passenger stations, bikepath, and bridges; as well as the urban <br />' reconstruction of the adjacent US -1 corridor which included roadway widening, asphalt removal <br />and replacement, new drainage, sidewalks, bridge widening, street lighting, new traffic signals, <br />' signing and markings, and landscaping. Also responsible for street lighting and signalization <br />components for Segment I North as well as the compilation of the project's changes in the As -built <br />set. <br />West Perrine Park - Miami -Dade Parks - Project Engineer responsible for the construction <br />' administration and the progress site visits and field observations for the water service installation, <br />grading and drainage, and asphalt paving, for the West Perrine Park. The project consisted of an <br />addition of a new recreation center with new parking lot, and walkways for West Perrine Park. The <br />' project included paving and grading, striping, water and sanitary system.
