in numerous states along the East Coast and throughout North America including: New York, New Jersey,
Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Texas, and Nevada. Mr. Meyer has
also practiced in various islands of the Caribbean chain including: Nassau, Abaco Island, and Chub Cay of the
Berry Island chain in the Bahamas, and the Montego Bay area of Jamaica.
Mr. Meyer's project experience includes subsurface investigations, design and construction oversight of large -
scale high -rise condominium projects, offices, hotels, retail developments, sport arenas, resorts, malls, and
large -tract townhome developments.
Mr. Meyer's geotechnical experience includes: 1) shallow foundation design, 2) deep foundation design
including driven and cast-in-place piles as well as drilled shafts, 3) observation and monitoring of fullscale-
load testing of deep foundation elements, 4) ground improvement (i.e., dynamic compaction, vibro- replacement,
preloading /surcharging) to decrease settlement, mitigate liquefaction, and /or increase allowable bearing
pressures, 5) admixture stabilization, 6) slope stability recommendations and stabilization techniques, 7)
seismic analyses and design in the New York and South Carolina area, and 8) recommendations for
geotechnical instrumentation programs to measure lateral, vertical movements, strain in foundation elements,
pressure in subsurface materials, and deformations of foundations.
GEOTECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Met 3 Tower, Miami, FL- This development is to consist of a 75 -story tower and an adjacent 15 -level
connecting garage structure. Performed a geotechnical engineering study and provided design /construction
assistance throughout the early stages of the design phase of the project. This project is to be supported on
125, 6- ft- diameter drilled shafts installed to significant depths.
