The W- Hotel, Miami Beach, FL -This development is to consist of a 20 -story hotel and connecting subterranean parking garage having a FFE of el- 4 NGVD. Prepared the geotechnical engineering study report. ' Fairfield Dadeland, South Miami, FL- This development consists of a 25 -story high rise condominium tower. Assisted in the preparation of a supplemental /peer review geotechnical study and provided high- capacity piles to economize the foundation system (i.e. 420 ton piles). Also provided excavation support and dewatering consultation services directly to the Contractor. Included computer MODFLOW analyses to assess drawdown, permitted plans for dewatering discharge as well as excavation support design drawings for FDOT submittals. Downtown Dadeland, South Miami, FL- This development consists of a mid -rise condominium and retail ' development with two levels of parking to be constructed below grade (i.e. at el - 10 NGVD). Observed preliminary excavationtest pit pump tests, performed dewatering analyses, and observed full-scale mock -up sheeted excavation with interior sump pump dewatering, associated drawdown, and pump rates. Turnberry Village- Aventura, FL- This development consists of twin 15 -story apartment towers. Assisted in the preparation of the geotechnical engineering study to utilize short augercast piles embedded in the upper ' Miami Limestone after performance oftower preloading. Provided project management oversight during all phases of earthwork /preloading operations. Trump International Hotel, Fort Lauderdale Beach, FL -This development is to consist of a 25 -level tower and an adjacent garage and retail area. Prepared the geotechnical engineering study report and provided oversight of geotechnical engineering related issues. Wal -Mart Distribution Center- Fort Pierce, FL- Provided geotechnical construction consulting services to expedite fill placement within the proposed building pad (i.e., 1.5 million sq. ft.). Provided recommendations and construction oversight for cement modification of on -site silty and clayey sands. Northwest Airlines Cargo Facility, JFK, Jamaica, NY - Assisted in preparation of the earthquake engineering study and the geotechnical engineering study and evaluation. Assisted in the preparation of technical plans /specifications for dynamic compaction to mitigate liquefaction and allow support of structures on shallow foundations with bearing pressures of 2 tons /ft'. Provided construction inspection services during dynamic compaction, heavy surface compaction at depth, subgrade preparation, and backfilling. Staten island university Hospital Expansion, Staten island, NY - This development consisted of the construction of 2- Linear accelerator additions, a 7 -story radiation /oncology building, a conference center, a parking garage, and an addition of one story above a presently existing three story building. Assisted in the ' preparation of the geotechnical engineering study for recommendations of monotube pile foundations in sands. Assisted in the design of an underpinning system and underpinning specifications. Provided monotube pile and load test inspection services. Target Store, Bethel, CN- Analyzed and designed a 20 ft high retaining wall with native sand backfill utilizing A.B. Chance soil screw anchors as a reinforcement system. Evaluated use of a soldier pile and lagging retention system. ' Target Store, Raleigh, NC - Evaluated and mapped the failure of a 30 -foot high embankment constructed on a 1.5H:1V slope in residual clayey silt soils. Assisted with the analysis of the slope retention /rehabilitation. TAC /MGM Condominium Development & Turnberry Place, Las Vegas, NV- Performed field inspection of Phase I subsurface investigation for a proposed 30 -story condominium tower, observed performance of ' downhole seismic testing, and performed field inspection of small -scale test pit dewatering pump tests. Performed dewatering analyses for construction dewatering during mat foundation excavation of 40 -story condominium tower foundations.
