In addition, we currently hold the FDOT District Seven Districtwide Signal Timing contract. Some of the software programs used to develop the signal timings include SYNCHRO, SIMTRAFFIC, HCS, SIGNAL 2000, TRANSYT-7F, CORSIM, and TSPPD. V ANUS has experience working with public agencies to find solutions to complex traffic flow problems. We are dedicated to producing signal timing plans that are consistent with the traffic movement goals, and ensuring that the goals are realistic for the available roadway capacity. V ANUS' commitment to producing successful signal timing plans does not end with a coded database. The field implementation and refinement tasks are vital to transition the computer-generated timing plans into working signal operations. We have severalIMSA-certified technicians to ensure field implementation of timing plans is done correctly. V ANUS has also developed and presented several signal timing training courses. V ANUS implemented and fine-tuned the timings, including conducting before and after travel time evaluations. V ANUS recently developed and implemented signal timings for 13 intersections in Pinellas County. V ANUS has completed developing, implementing and evaluating signal timings for 123 intersections in Hillsborough County, Pasco County, Hernando County, and Citrus County. Intersection inventories and MUTCD compliance reviews are part of this project.
