This pump station was designed to eliminate the flooding problems at the intersection ofNW 37 <br />Ave at NW 14 ST and as part of a lP A between FDOT and the City of Miami. Prepare construction documents (plans and <br />specifications) for the following improvements: milling & resurfacing, new <br />gravity drainage wells, sanitary sewer capacity improvements which consist of <br />pipe/manhole up-sizing, water main upgrades, relocation of water <br />meters/meter boxes, new decorative lighting system, landscape and irrigation <br />upgrades, replacement of curb & gutter and sidewalk from 11 th St. to 16th St., <br />design of intersection bump-outs, compliance with ADA requirements, <br />modification of parking space layout, relocation of existing utilities, <br />coordination with the CMB Parking Department to remove and reinstall <br />parking meter heads and parking signs, & signature median improvements <br />from 5th St. to 6th St., between 16th to Lincoln Road. The area consists of <br />multi-family structures with significant retail/commercial components, portions of which are within <br />historically designated areas. This neighbourhood is located in the heart of South Miami Beach and <br />includes much of the National Register Architectural District.
