<br />NOTICE TO BIDDERS
<br />
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY COMMISSION of THE CITY
<br />IOF SUNNY ISLES BEACH is seeking sealed bids for ihe following work
<br />as specified.
<br />
<br />Atlantic Isles Roadway and Utility Improvements
<br />CGA Project No. 05-4893
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Bid No. 08-06-01
<br />
<br />Sealed bids for the construction of the design of roadway improvements,
<br />including construction of sanitary sewer collection system with gravity
<br />sewer lines, manholes, WASD lift station and force main; paving, grading,
<br />and drainage improvements; under grounding of certain utilities, such as
<br />FPL power, CATV, and telephone. The installation of a new water main
<br />with services is also proposed by the City of North Miami Beach to be
<br />'constructed contemporaneously, but not currently in this contract and will
<br />be received by the Owner, City of Sunny Isles Beach.
<br />
<br />rBidS shall be on a unit price basis; segregated bids will not be accepted.
<br />Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk until 11 :30 am,
<br />Monday, June 16, 2008 at the City of, Sunny Isles Beach, City Hall
<br />located at 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160. Bids
<br />,received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids submitted will be
<br />'opened publicly and read aloud at this time.
<br />
<br />A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference Is scheduled for 10:00 am,
<br />Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the City of Sunny Isles Beach, City Hall
<br />located at 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160,

<br />Bidders may obtain complete sets of Bidding Documents from the City of
<br />Sunny Isles Beach at 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida
<br />33160 at no cost. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available.
<br />
<br />Bidding Documents may be examined at the City of Sunny Isles Beach, at
<br />the above-referenced address.
<br />
<br />Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid, must ac-
<br />company the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
<br />
<br />The contract will be awarded by the Owner to the lowest responsible and
<br />responsive bidder whose bid best serves the interests of, and represents
<br />the best value to, the Owner pursuant to the criteria set forth in Section
<br />62-8 of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Price is only a factor in
<br />determining the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
<br />
<br />The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, with or without
<br />cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, and to accept the Bid,
<br />which best serves the interest of the Owner.
