PAGE 2/2 Drainage Analysis/Plans/Permitting Prairie Avenue - Dade Boulevard to ~ 23rd Street Drainage City of Miami Beach, FL Client: City of Miami Beach Project consisted of performing a drainage analysis of a segment of Prairie Avenue, from Dade Blvd to W 23rd St, adjacent of Miami Beach Senior High School. The project area is located within Basin 76 of the City of Miami Beach. The proposed improvements included a pump station system with injection wells and a new collection sys- tem. The total drainage area encompasses 9.05 Ac. MIC Rental Car Center (RCC), Dade County, FL. Client: FDOT District VI Design Engineer on civil plans, which included paving, grading and drainage, domestic and fire water mains and the sanitary system design, following the M-D WASD and FOOT drainage manual re- quirements. ) ) ) ) ) ) ) 42" Water Reuse Transmission Pipeline Miami-Dade County, FL. Client: M-D WASD M-D County has evaluated ways to comply with water reuse re- quirements and has identified reliable cost-effective alternative sources of water to meet future demands. As part of the reclaimed water requirement of the 20 Year Water Use Permit granted to M-D WASD from SFWMD, APCTE has been assigned the task of de- signing a 42" reclaimed water main, with design flow 23 MGD, to discharge in the Miami Metrozoo area. This reclaimed water will then infiltrate into the ground and help recharge the groundwater aquifer. A Basis of Design Report has been prepared to provide an analysis of the best pipe material and route for this reclaimed water main. A set of twenty-six (26) possible combinations of alternatives for the route of the pipe alignment was developed and cost esti- mated, to later make the appropriate selection. 72" Reclaimed Water Main for Proposed FPL Turkey Point Nu- clear Reactors #6 & #7 Miami-Dade County, FL Client: FPL Project consists of feasibility study for a 72" reclaimed water pipe to travel from the South District Wastewater Treatment Plant to FPL Turkey Point Facilities. Alternatives to consider were the use of the Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant as a redundant source of reclaimed water, the proposed West District Wastewater Treat- ment Plant, as well as 3-54" pipes instead of 1-72" pipe. SR 924 (Gratigny Parkway) Toll Plaza Removal Miami-Dade County, FL Client: Miami-Dade Expressway Authority This Toll Plaza Removal project extended for over 3,500 feet along SR 924, ending at NW 42nd Ave.lLe Jeune Rd, and included re- moval of the existing SR 924 Toll Plaza, drainage improvements and drainage report, roadway improvements, traffic control, and new signing and pavement markings. NW 138th Street / ~ 84th Street Water and Sewer Improvements Hialeah, FL Client: City of Hialeah, FOOT Project consisted of designing a 16" ductile iron water main, 8" san- itary sewer, 6" force main, and sanitary lift station along NW 138th Street / W. 84th Street, between NW 67th Avenue and NW 57th Av- enue for the City of Hialeah. Performed field visits, worked as part of plans preparation team, helped prepare technical specifications, and submitted permit applications, including Class III Permit. NW 57th Avenue / ~ 4th Avenue Water Main Relocation Hialeah, FL Client: City of Hialeah, FDOT Project consisted of designing an 8" ductile iron water main reloca- tion along NW 57th Ave / W. 4th Ave, between W 19th Street and W 25th Street for the City of Hialeah.
